Powercom accounts association raises question on the suspension of officers by incompetent authority, demands revocation

PSEB Accounts Audit & Administrative Services Association (Regd) has raised concern over the suspension of Prabhjot Kaur, AAO and Yogesh Kumar Mandal (Divisional Supdt.).
In a press note, the Accounts Association strongly condemns the illegal suspension of Prabhjot Kaur, AAO, DS Division Sunder Nagar (ID 308184) and Yogesh Kumar Mandal (Divisional Supdt.), issued by an incompetent authority. The suspension, without any inquiry or responsibility-fixing, is arbitrary and unsustainable, as both officers acted strictly according to PSPCL rules while resisting an unauthorized payment of Rs. 30 lakhs imposed under undue pressure without any approval.
The Association demands the immediate revocation of the suspension and suitable action against officers who misused their authority. Failure to act will compel the Accounts Cadre to intensify its agitation. The Association urges the management to ensure justice and uphold the dignity and safety of its cadre members enabling them to perform their duties without fear or undue pressure
