Govt Bikram College students participated in innovative learning fair ‘SolveCon’

Under the guidance of Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, 56 students of BCA-III of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala participated in ‘SolveCon’, an innovative learning fair held on 28th August at Punjabi University, Patiala. The event was organized by Punjabi University in collaboration with Reap Benefit Foundation, Bangalore. ‘SolveCon’ is a unique platform where experts from various institutions and different parts of the country share their knowledge on skill development, job opportunities and internships.
The college Principal appreciated this initiative and emphasized the significance of such exposure in enhancing the academic and professional competencies of students. Dr. Reetu Kapoor, Member Secretary HEIS, encouraged students to actively participate in such programs that complement their classroom learning and provide practical understanding of industry needs. Dr. Rekha Rani, IQAC Coordinator, also lauded this effort and highlighted that such initiatives contribute to the overall quality enhancement of the institution. The registration process for the students was completed under the supervision of Sr. Asst. Prof. Dr. Harsimran Kaur.
Students got the opportunity to interact with the experts, gain valuable insights and explore career-oriented prospects.All participating students received certificates for their involvement in this enriching experience. Asst. Prof.Dr. Harsimran Kaur, Asst. Prof. Yadwinder Singh and Asst Prof. Priyanka Puri accompanied the students during the visit.
