CM Nayab Singh Saini reviews progress of Sikh Museum and Guru Ravidas Museum to be built in Kurukshetra

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said to preserve the heritage of Sikh Gurus and to take the philosophy of their life and ideals among the masses, the detailed project report (DPR) of the Sikh Museum and Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Museum to be built in Kurukshetra should be prepared at the earliest. He also directed that the works related to both these museums should be completed within the stipulated time so that the coming generations can take inspiration from the teachings of the Gurus and contribute to the nation and society.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was holding a meeting with officers here today regarding the Sikh Museum and Guru Ravidas Museum to be built in Kurukshetra. He also instructed that provision of installing solar panels should be kept in mind while finalizing the DPRs of both these museums.
He said to preserve the memory and teachings of the Gurus, a Sikh Museum will be constructed on 3 acres of land in Kurukshetra, which will guide the youth to move forward on the path of the Gurus’ teachings. He said the construction of the Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra should be such that it presents a complete glimpse of Sikh history, culture, and the contribution of the Gurus. The museum should also realistically depict the historical battles fought by the Gurus for the protection of religion, justice, and human values, so that the saga of sacrifice and struggle remains a source of inspiration for centuries.
Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the need for the construction of a grand Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Museum, stating that this museum should not only be magnificent in terms of architecture, but its content should also effectively present the life philosophy, spiritual thoughts, and the message of social harmony of Guru Ravidas Ji.
The Chief Minister said 3 acres of land for the Sikh Museum and 5 acres of land for the Guru Ravidas Museum have already been provided by Haryana Shaheri Vikas Pradhikaran. Now, the necessary processes should be completed to start the construction of these projects at the earliest.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary of Department of Heritage and Tourism, Kala Ramachandran, Director General of the Department of Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, K. Makarand Pandurang, Chief Administrator of Haryana Shaheri Vikas Pradhikaran, Chander Shekhar Khare, Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena and OSD to Chief Minister, Dr. Prabhleen Singh, along with other officers were present.
