Ryan International School, Patiala Hosts Grand 18th Junior Annual Sports Meet 2025

Ryan International School, Patiala, successfully hosted its much-anticipated Ryan Montessori & Primary Annual Sports Meet celebrating fitness, camaraderie, and the spirit of sportsmanship among its young students. The event, meticulously organized by the school, was a vibrant display of energy and talent, leaving spectators thoroughly impressed.
The Sports Meet was graced by a distinguished panel of guests, including Inderjeet Singh, District Handball Coach of the Punjab Sports Department; Kamaldeep Singh, District Kho-Kho Coach; and Parvej Joshi, International Shooting Coach and Visionary Founder.
The day commenced with great enthusiasm, featuring the traditional Lord’s Prayer, Scripture Reading, and melodious Prayer Songs. The atmosphere was charged with excitement following the Welcome Speech and the ceremonial March Past by the students. The lighting of the torch and the inspirational Speech on the Importance of Sports by Ms. Nimrat Dhindsa set a positive tone for the day’s proceedings.
The highlight of the event was the diverse range of drills and track events, showcasing the physical prowess and coordination of the young athletes. The Montessori students participated in engaging Drills such as Acrobats (Pom-Pom Drill), Yoga Drill, Hula Hoop Drill, and Aerobics Drill. Their races included innovative concepts like ‘Dress Up like a princess race (Wear & Run)’, ‘Build and Run race’, ‘Find the Doll Race (Find & Run)’, and ‘Drag the Ball’. Students from Standard I and II competed in fun races such as the ‘Balance the Plate Race’, ‘Zig Zag Race’, ‘Hula Hoop walk race’, and ‘Hop with a Ball race (Hold the Ball)’.
The guests of honour actively participated in the proceedings, offering words of encouragement and motivation to the participants. The ceremony concluded with the Distribution of Medals to the deserving winners, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Pahul Gill and Manseerat Kaur. The event culminated with the singing of the School Anthen &National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism.
The Principal, Pooja Sharma, acknowledged the hard work of the students and staff, emphasizing the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel in both academics and sports.
The Junior Annual Sports Meet 2025 was a resounding success, underscoring the vital role of sports in character building and holistic development.
