Light & Sound Show and Drone Show to continue uninterrupted till November 29 – Deputy Commissioner

Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia and SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana, during a special meeting with officers in the meeting hall of Virasat-e-Khalsa, directed that the arrangements made for devotees during the 350th Shaheedi Shatabdi Samagam of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji will continue till November 29. They informed that the Light & Sound Show will be held at 5 PM at Charan Ganga Stadium and the Drone Show will take place at 6 PM at Virasat-e-Khalsa.
They stated that free accommodation has been arranged for devotees in the Tent City established in Sri Anandpur Sahib. Booking for this Tent City is open till November 29, and devotees can continue to book just as before. They further informed that the Vidhan Sabha at Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial in Sri Anandpur Sahib has been opened to the general public. People may visit the Vidhan Sabha from 9 AM to 5 PM.
They added that free shuttle bus service and e-rickshaw service are operational, and devotees can avail these free facilities to visit various Gurudwaras. They also informed that Aam Aadmi Clinics have been set up to provide health facilities, where expert medical officers and staff have been deployed. Proper arrangements for cleanliness, drinking water, and toilets have been made in the Guru Nagri.
SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana said that officers and staff will remain deployed for the security of devotees, and proper traffic management arrangements have been made. He said that their officers and employees are keeping a close watch over the entire event area. Strong security arrangements have been made in the Tent City as well.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chanderjyoti Singh, Assistant Commissioner Abhimanyu Malik, SP Arvind Meena, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Pooja Syal, SDM Sri Anandpur Sahib Jaspreet Singh, SDM Rupnagar Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, SDM Morinda Sukhpal Singh, SDM Nangal Sachin Pathak, SDM Chamkaur Sahib Amrik Singh Sidhu, DSP Nangal Harkirat Singh, DSP Sri Anandpur Sahib Jashandeep Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh, Executive Engineer Harjitpal Singh and officers of various departments were present.
