Transfers-PCS officer demoted in partially modified orders; 4 IAS-PCS officers ‘Under Transfer’ receive fresh posting orders

Punjab government has issued a transfer orders of 59 IAS-PCS officers on November 28,2025.Changing,partially modifying its orders, the government again issued orders of 4 under transfer IAS-PCS officers and posted them on new seats.
Sonam, IAS officer has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Excise & Taxation without giving her any specific posting. Normally, IAS or PCS officer is posted in the department on specific post- AETC, DETC, Joint ETC, Addl ETC etc. But this time she officer has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Excise & Taxation for further posting.
Ankur Mahindroo, PCS has been given modified posting as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General),Sangrur .Earlier he was posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Khanna.
Jagdeep Saigal, PCS is now posted as joint secretary, local bodies. In his earlier order, he was posted as additional deputy commissioner (general), Moga. Before his transfer as ADC, Moga, he was posted as joint director, local government.
As per partial modified orders Sanjeev Kumar, PCS has been demoted and posted as deputy director, local government. In earlier orders, he was posted as joint director, local government.
