Bridging Groups: mixed team elected to lead Gymkhana Club Patiala’s management

Rajindra Gymkhana and Mahindra Club (RGMC), Patiala has announced the election results of 12 candidates. For a change, this time most of the members who are elected as the new office bearers are young members of the club.
Sherbir Singh Thind has been elected as the new president of RGMC. MM Sayal has been elected vice-president; Harpreet Singh Sandhu has been elected as honorary secretary, CA Rohit Gupta is the new joint secretary and Mohit Doddy has been elected as the treasurer of the club.
The seven elected as executive committee members are Sahil Khanna, Rahul Mehta, Ashish Jain, Deepak Bansal Dakala, Paramjit Goyal, Dr KS Grover and Vishal Singla.
Now Friendship and Democratic group have 7 members and Unified Visionaries Alliance (Visionary + Goodwill+ Catalyst) group have 5 members in the newly elected 12 members core team.Sherbir Singh Thind has been elected as the new president of RGMC and MM Sayal is his vice-president. Deepak Bansal Dakala, Paramjit Goyal, Dr KS Grover are new executive members aligned with this group
From Friendship and Democratic group members Harpreet Singh Sandhu has been elected as honorary secretary, CA Rohit Gupta is the new joint secretary Mohit Doddy has been elected as the treasurer of the club. Ashish Jain , Vishal Singla, Rahul Mehta, Sahil Khanna are new Executive members aligned with this group.
RGMC have its new president and vice president from Unified Visionaries Alliance (Visionary + Goodwill+ Catalyst) group.
On December 20, 2025 RGMC members polled to 12 elect president, vice president, hony secretary, treasurer, joint secretary and seven executive member. Out of 2,980 members, 2,105 members exercised their right to vote.
The two groups- Friendship & Democratic and Unified Visionaries Alliance (Visionary + Goodwill+ Catalyst) group had fielded their 12 member each for the post of president, vice president, hony secretary, treasure and eight executive members.
