Garg unanimously elected as PSEB Engineers’ Association president

In the meeting of the PSEB Engineers’ Association (PSEBEA) held today, May 9,2026, Er. Jatinder Garg was unanimously elected as President of the Association. Er Jatinder Garg has previously served as Senior Vice President of the Association. He was recently transferred out of Patiala due to political pressure and his association-related activities. This transfer was widely condemned by engineers. Er. Garg is also active in the Joint Action Committee of Power Sector Engineers, Employees, and Pensioners.
The Executive Committee of the Association expressed confidence that under his leadership, it will continue to work with greater unity and determination for the welfare of engineers and the safeguarding of the power sector of Punjab.
The Association also placed on record its sincere appreciation for the valuable contribution and dedicated services rendered by the outgoing President, Er. Jasvir Singh Dhiman. Er Dhiman has been part of the executive of the association for the last 25 years. During his tenure, the Association effectively raised important issues concerning the engineers and the power sector and strengthened the unity of the engineering fraternity.
The members thanked Er. Dhiman for his committed leadership, and wished him the very best for the future.
