ACD Asian MBA will help students to emerging Int’l Business environment-Dr Chawla

ACD(Asian Cooperation Dialogue) Ministerial Meeting concluded with signing ACD MBA as one of the agenda.Indian Delegation was led by Gen VK Singh (Retd), Minister of State for External Affairs. The Vice Chancellor of RIMT University Dr A S Chawla was the signatory to the MOA which provided formal beginning to the  New Age Asian MBA amongst the partner countries in the Asian Region. There are 13 member countries that have been deliberating upon the issue of starting Asian MBA with common curricula and credit transfer as the main stay of the program.Besides India the other signatories were Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand.India was represented by RIMT University, the only university from Indian side.

The MOA will encourage the mobility of the students from amongst the nation as credit transfer will be the basis of relationship. The discussion among the universities also explored the possibilities of using virtual mode for instruction. The curricula for the program has already been finalized in earlier meeting held at Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.The signing during Ministerial meeting will concluded the two years proceedings that has been going on for starting new age MBA program.

Expressing happiness over the event, Dr Chawla expressed that ACD Asian MBA will expose the students to emerging international business environment and also open door for unlimited job  opportunities available in whole of the region.
