BBMB Talwara to organize one day Free Medical Health Check-Up Camp-Chief Engineer

“A free medical check-up camp will be organized at Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) Hospital, Talwara on 30 January 2026 – specialist doctors from Fortis Hospital, Jalandhar related to gynecological diseases, neurological disorders, and kidney diseases will visit Talwara” said Rakesh Gupta, Chief Engineer, BBMB Talwara.
Gupta added “in addition to BBMB staff, general residents of the area can also attend the camp and avail themselves of its benefits. Specialists arriving from Fortis Hospital, Jalandhar will include Dr. Onkar Singh, expert in kidney and urinary diseases; Dr. Tushar Arora, neurosurgery specialist; and Dr. (Major) Amandeep Kaur, gynecology specialist, who will provide their services at the camp.
He further said that, keeping in view the need for specialist doctors for these diseases in the region, BBMB has invited these experts under a special initiative so that this facility can be made available to the local population.
He appealed to BBMB staff as well as all residents of the area to visit the BBMB Hospital on 30 January 2026, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and take maximum advantage of the camp. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM, and medical examinations will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. On this occasion, free ECG tests and blood sugar tests will also be conducted.
