NIPM Student Chapter Launched at Lamrin Tech Skills University to Strengthen Industry–Academia Collaboration

The University School of Commerce & Management (USCM), Lamrin Tech Skills University,Punjab successfully organized the formal launch of the Student Chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) at the university . The event witnessed the participation of over 150 students, faculty members, and senior university officials.
The programme began with a warm welcome of the dignitaries. Presidential Remarks delivered by Vice-Chancellor Dr AS Chawla who emphasized the importance of experiential learning, industry-oriented education, and professional engagement in preparing students for real-world challenges.
Dean USCM, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, formally introduced the distinguished dignitaries from NIPM and extended a cordial welcome on behalf of the university, while Director HR, P. K. Varma, highlighted the academic vision and strategic importance behind establishing the NIPM Student Chapter, stressing its role in strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing students’ professional competencies.
A detailed presentation on NIPM initiatives was delivered by Pooja Nayar, who explained various professional development programmes, mentoring opportunities, applied learning projects, and industry collaborations available to students through the Student Chapter.
S. P. Bansal, who highlighted NIPM’s role in connecting students with industry professionals and preparing them for dynamic organizational environments.
The formal proceedings concluded with the Vote of Thanks Dr B S Satyal Registrar of the university.
