It is a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir as it wins it’s first ever Ranji Trophy Elite 2025-26 first time in 6 decades defeating Karnataka cricket team. This happened at the KSCA Cricket Ground today i.e 28 February, 2026.
Jammu Kashmir did batting first and played the match with an extremely strong lead. All the players played impeccably. J&K earned massive 584 runs in their first innings. It bowled out Karnataka for 293 runs.
Qamran Iqbal’s wonderful batting in both innings helped greatly for the team to win. Auqib Nabi was the best bowler in this tournament.
CM Omar Abdullah specially came at the cricket stadium to watch this match. It is a proud moment for the CM as well as the citizens. The Chief Minister appreciated the team. Both the team leaders ended this drawn match by shaking hands together. This would forever remain a big moment!
