Norah Richards Theatre Festival at NZCC

‘Yeh Zindagi’ – Play staged  by Kalakriti  on  4th Day i.e. 11 December, 2017 of ongoing 4th  “Norah Richards” Theater Festival organised by Sarthak Rang Manch, Patiala in collaboration with North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala to dedicate Ajmer Singh Aulakh. The Play was  based on Chitra Mudgal’s Famous Hindi  Novel “ Gilli Guddu” and it was directed by Madam Parminderpal Kaur. Attempts were made to focus on the aspects of how a senior citizen of a particular class needs to go through difficulties while living in the family in every family of the society.

In the Play, Ravi Bhushan, Parminder Pal Kaur and Surjit Singh starred in their characters. Among the artists, Chandan Baloch, Roop Kaur, Charu Sharma, M.M. Sial, Vicky, Gaurav Sharma and Nirmal played their characters.

To make this drama more effective, the music of Harjit Guddu’s, lights of Satinder and Gaurav, Praminderpal Kaur’s Costume  and beautiful property of Nirmal Singh made a special contribution.

Director of the Festival Dr. Inderjit Kaur Goldy thanked the visitors and the audience. On this occasion Dr. Inderjit Singh Dean Academic Affairs, Punjabi University Patiala; Mr. Pammi Bai, S. Tejinder Pal Singh Sandhu, Dr. Kamlesh Uppal, Mohinder Sekhon, Yogesh Sagar, Avtar Singh Arora, Pran Sabbarwal, Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Bhikhi, Gurnam Singh Hackida were present.

On the last day of the festival Hindi drama ‘Pukar’ directed by Gaurav Bhat  written by Tapan Bhatt from Jaipur (Rajasthan) will be presented on 12th December .
