Punjab’s law enforcement agency raids BJP MP’s business premises

Today Punjab’s law enforcement agency Punjab pollution control board (PPCB) has raided the premises of Trident Industries, Dhaula, Mansa Road, Barnala . About raid at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd (IOLCP) subsidiary of Trident Industries remains uncleared.
As per sources the official team in around 9-10 vehicles came and raided the business premises of the MP. They have collected the water, soil and other samples for investigation.
Trident Industries is owned by Rajinder Gupta, a leading businessman and BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab.
Gupta was nominated to Rajya Sabha by aam aadmi party (AAP) and he recently left the same and joins BJP along with other six MPs .
Meanwhile,Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab Working State President, Ashwani Sharma has strongly condemned the recent raid conducted by the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on the premises of Trident Group, terming it a “deplorable and politically motivated act.”
