Ryan Patiala Honors Scholastic Brilliance @ Annual Academic Awards-cum-Earth Day Celebrations

Ryan International School Patiala transformed its campus into a hub of inspiration and pride today as it hosted the Annual Academic Awards Ceremony (2025-26) in conjunction with Earth Day. The event was particularly significant as it coincided with the Golden Jubileeyear of the Ryan International Group of Institutions, marking 50 years of the visionary leadership of Chairman, Dr. A. F. Pinto and Managing Director, Dr. Grace Pinto. The ceremony was graced by the Guest of Honour, Kulwinder Kaur, District Social Justice & Empowerment Officer, who joined the faculty and parents in applauding the stellar achievements of the students.
The day began with a powerful spiritual invocation followed by the Guest Felicitation when the stage came alive with a poignant Earth Day Dance and a creative Choreographyon Earth Day. These performances artfully depicted the delicate balance of nature, reflecting the school’s deep-rooted commitment to environmental stewardship. The cultural energy was further amplified by a stirring Band Performance and a vibrant Bhangra by the students of Grade 10, which added a traditional rhythmic flair to the Golden Jubilee festivities.
The core of the celebration was the Ryan Achiever’s Award distribution, where the hard work of the academic year reached its crowning moment. Kulwinder Kaur presented Certificates and Medals to the Position Holders from Std I to V, as well as the Subject Toppers and Class Toppers from Std VI to XII. A special category, the Excellence in Academic Achiever’s Award, was bestowed upon students who demonstrated unwavering dedication and mastery across the curriculum. The sight of the achievers, adorned with medals and holding their certificates high, served as a testament to the high standards of excellence nurtured within the Ryan corridors.
In her keynote address, Kulwinder Kaur lauded the students for their discipline and intellectual rigor. She noted that an institution’s success is reflected in the character of its students, praising Ryan International for 50 years of shaping global citizens who are as conscious of their environment as they are of their academics. The Guest Speech provided a roadmap for the students, encouraging them to use their academic success to serve society and protect the planet.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the parents whose support is the backbone of student success. Parents in attendance were highly appreciative of the school’s effort to encourage students to pursue holistic growth. As the ceremony drew to a close, the atmosphere was one of profound accomplishment and a renewed pledge to “Excellence in Education and Action.”
