Today on 21st June 2020, students and teachers of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, S.S.T Nagar, Patiala celebrated Online International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm due to COVID-19 pandemic by attending this Online Yoga Session by Physical Education Instructor Gurjog Singh. Students learnt and performed various Asanas under his guidance from home, importance of yoga was also explained simultaneously. The celebration concluded with a message of school Principal Dr.Kanwaljit Kaur to practice regular Yoga and to achieve better life physically & mentally.She said “the theme for International Yoga Day 2020 is Yoga for Health – Yoga at Home. So we organised an online Yoga session.”
Yoga Day & Father’s Day celebration by Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Patiala.On the same day, Online Father’s Day was also celebrated by the students under the Title ‘MY FATHER, MY SUPERHERO’ contest. In which students expressed their Love & Gratitude towards their Superheros through Various activities such as Card Making, Poetry Recitation, Short Act, Song & Dance moves with their father on the theme of father’s day. On this special Occasion, Principal of school Dr.Kanwaljit Kaur also conveyed her blessings & warm wishes to students & inspired them to be the Pride of their parents by fulfilling their dreams through Hard work.
