PSPCL CMD appeal; consumers to pay power bill online; Covid symptoms-employees go for test

In view of the expected second wave of Covid 19 CMD A.Venu Prasad has advised to all officers/officials of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited to go for testing of their selves and their families, in case of slightest doubt and symptoms of Covid19.
In a message, A.Venu Prasad also advised all officers/officials of the PSPCL to observe all necessary precautions seriously especially wearing masks and maintaining physical distance in offices and while visiting field offices and ensure hand sanitization.
He advised officers to conduct meetings online as far as possible and restrict gathering of employees. He also advised to take all precautions to prevent exposure and regularly do hand sanitation. He further added that proper arrangements should be made to keep offices well ventilated.
CMD also made an appeal to its esteemed consumers to stay home and make payments of their electricity bills online to save their precious time, cost and energy.
He said that consumers should adopt digital payment modes like PSPCL website, mobile apps namely UMANG, BHIM, Paytm, BBPS channels like PhonePe, Just Dial, Google Pay, Amazon, Payzapp etc.
