SGPC coaching center for competitive civil services exam inaugurated at Khalsa College, Patiala

Bibi Jagir Kaur, President Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee Sri Amritsar Sahib inaugurated a Coaching Center for Competitive Civil Services Examinations and Sports Complex at Khalsa College, Patiala in which free coaching will be given to Sikh candidates for the civil service examinations She also inaugurated Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sports Complex at Khalsa College, Patiala to promote sports. She also laid the foundation stone of Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa Public School Dhamomajra run by Khalsa College Patiala.
On this occasion Bibi Jagir Kaur Ji said that for the upliftment of the Panth and to provide free coaching to the Sikh students, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has set up a coaching center at Khalsa College, Patiala. She also said that Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee is beginning its first public school in Patiala city which would be accredited by CBSE. To provide best education has always been a priority for Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). It strives to ensure that our students receive world class education. She said that Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sports Complex will provide high quality sports facilities to the students which will enable our students to perform well.
Surjit Singh Rakhra Honorary Secretary College Governing Body and former Minister Punjab Government, expressed happiness on this occasion and said that Khalsa College Patiala is an emerging educational institution not only of Punjab but also of India. The establishment of coaching centre, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sports Complex and Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School will further pave the way for its development.
Harjinder Singh Dhami Chief Secretary Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee said on this occasion that the path of progress of the nation is through educational institutions.
Sukhminder Singh, Education Secretary Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that continuous work is being done for the holistic development of students in the educational institutions run by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
Satwinder Singh Tohra, Member Internal Committee, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee said that contemporary education is necessary for the progress of our student.

Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha Principal Khalsa College Patiala said that today is a very auspicious day for us when Sports Complex, Coaching Center and Public School have been inaugurated at Khalsa College Patiala. He thanked Bibi Jagir Kaur Ji and said that this would further enhance the progress of Khalsa College Patiala.
On this occasion, member Shiromani Committee Nirmal Singh Hariau,Kuldeep Kaur Tohra, Bhupinder Singh Bhalwan, Kuldeep Singh Nassupur, Jarnail Singh, Hardeep Kaur, Surjit Singh and all staff members were present.
