In a moment of immense pride and jubilation, Khalsa College Patiala achieved a historic feat as its talented archers, Sangampreet Singh Bisla and Avneet Kaur, emerged victorious and clinched gold medals in Archery at the recently concluded World University Games held in China. This outstanding achievement marks the first time that India has secured gold in Archery in such prestigious games, adding a new chapter to the country’s sporting legacy.
Sangampreet Singh Bisla and Avneet Kaur showcased their exceptional prowess and dedication, securing gold medals and etching their names in history. Their remarkable performances not only brought honor to their alma mater but also garnered laurels for the nation on the global stage.

The triumphant archers were felicitated and commended by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Former Education Minister, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Former Cabinet Minister & Hon. Secretary of the college governing body and Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal of Khalsa College Patiala. Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Deputy Principal, Dr. Gursharan Singh Gill, Dean of Sports of the college and other staff members of the college were also present on this jubilant celebration.
