Patiala parliamentary seat congress office bearers give a strong message to leaders to get themselves united

Today, Punjab congress incharge Devender Yadav, Punjab Pradesh congress committee (PPCC) Raja Warring, Patiala parliamentary seat incharge Gurkirat Singh Kotli amongst other met the congress office bearers of Patiala district, block, mandal.
Addressing the workers, PPCC Incharge Devendra Yadav highlighted their essential role in shaping the party’s structure in Punjab. He emphasized, “The foundation of any political party must be robust to achieve our objectives. Congress workers, operating at the grassroots level, play a crucial role in ensuring our message resonates with the masses.”
Raja Warring underscored the importance of unity, stating, “Our collective strength lies in unity. Focusing solely on individual interests hinders the prosperity of the party. It is imperative to prioritize the party’s interests above all else. Together, we are stronger than when standing alone.”
“The office bearers have unanimously asked the leaders to get themselves united as the workers are already united and are working for the betterment of Congress party. Some of them have also demanded the expulsion of Navjot Singh Sidhu from the party due to his regular anti party activities” said Vinod Bhatnagar, incharge Congress Sewa Dal Patiala parliamentary seat.
In today’s meeting the candidates who contested the 2022 assembly elections are also invited.
In today’s meeting the sitting congress lok sabha member parliament Preneet Kaur is not invited.
The party has also not invited its fire brand leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, who hails from Patiala but remained lok sabha member parliament from Amritsar
“Leaders must unite themselves, workers are already united” message by Patiala congress workers to party high command. When questioned the Patiala parliamentary seat incharge Gurkirat Singh Kotli, he said “ it was an official meeting of party office bearers of district , block, mandal of Patiala. The party state incharge came to listen the grievances, feedback of the party workers. “
When asked about the absence of Preneet kaur and Navjot Singh Sidhu he said “ Navjot Singh Sidhu is not invited as has not contested from Patiala. “. On Preneet Kaur absence, he said “she is not in the party. She has already been expelled from the party and is currently not a part of the political folds of the Congress.”
Congress’s high command has dispatched Yadav to Punjab to fortify the party’s presence in the state, reconcile emerging differences between the party leaders.
