After around one month of hardship, Rajindra Hospital gets its MS

Punjab govt has appointed Dr Girish Sahni, Professor of Orthopedics department as the Medical Superintendent of Govt Rajindra Hospital.
Earlier on June 8,2024 incumbent MS, Govt Rajindra Hospital, Patiala Dr Harman Singh Reikhi had submitted his resignation .
Since then the authorities had worked hard to find MS , Govt Rajindra Hospital. Finally, the authorities zero in on Dr Girish Sahni, who remained OSD/ Adviser to former chief minister of Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh.
As per sources, the health department authorities had contacted many senior doctors to accept the post of MS, but most of them has refused to sit on a hot seat of medical superintendent.
Yesterday, on July 3,2024 the Director-Principal of Govt Medical College, Patiala Dr Rajan Singla has also resigned from his post.
