Today, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Dera head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas in district Amritsar has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, a doctorate in chemical engineering from Cambridge and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, alumnus, as its patron and ‘sant satguru’.
Jasdeep Singh Gill son of Sukhdev Singh Gill born on March 15,1979 Gill has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the Exchange Programme. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemical engineering and biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Jasdeep Singh Gill has completed an Executive Education Program at the London Business School.
Before his appointment, Jasdeep Singh was Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of Cipla Limited, had already resigned to pursue personal interests outside of the company, and his last working day was May 31, 2024.
Singh joined Cipla in 2019 as the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff. He is also associated with Ethris and Achira Labs Private Limited as a Board Observer. Until March this year, he was a Board member of Wealthy Therapeutics. Earlier, Singh served at Ranbaxy as Executive Assistant to the CEO and at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs as the President and Chairman.

New Dera head Jasdeep Singh Gill brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. He served as the Senior Principal and Consulting Head for South Asia at IQVIA, a global leader in healthcare data and analytics. Based out of IQVIA’s corporate office in Mumbai, Jasdeep was looking after the Consulting and Services business for the South Asia region and leads initiatives in Private Equity and cross-border collaborations.
With over 15 years in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, Jasdeep has been a highly regarded advisor to both domestic and multinational companies. His expertise spans various domains, including R&D, strategy development, market access, and organizational restructuring. He was particularly skilled in large-scale strategy and growth projects, pricing strategies, market-entry, and expansion strategies. Jasdeep’s industry experience covers both emerging and regulated markets, making him a versatile and knowledgeable professional in his field.
In addition to his corporate roles, he has also co-founded a consulting firm, during his doctorate studies, and is someone who is keen to keep learning and update his knowledge.
