AIPEF celebrates engineers’ day across the country

All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) today observed Engineers day across the country highlighting the life and achievements of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and organised seminars .Functions were held at Patiala, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhopal , Bhubaneshwar, and other places.
At Patiala , the engineers day was celebrated in Association home and stalwarts like Padamjit Singh, Virender Singh,and Gurnek Brar were amongst others who participated. They paid homage to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, a legendary engineer and statesman , who is credited with many pioneering engineering feats. His innovative work in irrigation and infrastructure helped lay the foundation for modern engineering practices in India.
Shailendera Dubey, Chairman AIPEF said in Lucknow that it is the time for engineers to lead engineering departments. Rathnakar Rao Secretary General said they organised a seminar with the theme,” Engineering solutions for sustainable world”.
