Seminar on ‘How to crack CAT- a pathway to corporate world’ organized by Govt Mohindra College of its students

The Career guidance and Placement Cell of the Govt Mohindra College Patiala conducted a seminar on the topic ‘ How to crack CAT- a pathway to corporate world ‘under the able leadership of Principal Amarjit Singh and convenership of Dr. S B Sharma.

This seminar was meant to sensitise the students about exploring the possibility of doing MBA as a lucrative career option.

Arjun Sandhu, a student mentor from Hitbull’s Eye, Chandigarh brainstormed the students about the certain essential personal and academic traits needed for pursuing an MBA degree which can be learnt during the course and later put to use in the actual managerial role in the company.

Emphasising the toughness of CAT exam and rigorous preparation for it , the learned speaker analysed it’s complexity by breaking it into different segments and further suggested some strategies for each segment. He further prevailed upon the students to be observant enough to look at the nuanced strategies employed by the corporate companies to run their business by giving examples of the upcoming Daljit Dosanjh concert and some cold drinks companies.

The queries raised by the students were adequately taken up and answered properly much to their satisfaction at the end of this interactive seminar.

Seminar on ‘How to crack CAT- a pathway to corporate world’ organized by Govt Mohindra College of its students .The faculty members from different departments of the college like prof Jaswinder sandhu , prof Kamaldeep kaur ( at stage ) , Prof Geeta Sharma, Prof Amandeep Kaur ( refreshments) and Prof Palwinder Sandhu, Prof Sandeep Singh , Prof saman Devgan ( photography and report writing) and Prof Harinder kumar, Ashu kiran , prof Rajwant kaur , Chetna sharma , prof Sukhdeep billing , Prif Shruti contributed a lot to make this event a great success.
