A strong undercurrent wave of aam admi aprty (AAP) has changed the scenario of Chandigarh, as per the results of Municipal Corporation which were declared today.

Ruling bhartiya janta party (BJP) got the main shock in the recently held Municipal Corporation elections, for which the   result were declared today.

Others like Congress, shiromani akali dal (SAD) and others are too shocked as AAP wins 14 seats, BJP wins 12 seats, Congress wins 8 seats and SAD wins 1 seat.

Traditionally, the Chandigarh civic polls held every five years is a straight rivalry between the BJP and Congress. But this year AAP has changed totally changed the scene. In a huge setback for the BJP, both its mayors — Ravi Kant Sharma and Davesh Moudgil – were defeated by AAP candidates. But AAP’s election campaign committee head Chander Mukhi Sharma lost.
