All India University Tug of War Championship inaugurated at Lamrin Tech Skills University

The All India University Tug of War Championship 2025 was inaugurated at Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab, in a grand and spirited manner. The event was formally inaugurated with a balloon releasing ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
The event was graced by distinguished chief guests H.S. Dhillon, IPS (Retd.), Former DGP Punjab and Guests of Honour Dr. Rakesh Malik, Director Sports, Panjab University Kulwinder Singh, Ex-Navy Officer, Madan Mohan, Secretary General, Tug of War Federation of India (TWFI), Dr. Rahul Waghmare, Tournament Director Representing Lamrin Tech Skills University Dr. Parvinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor and Dr. Parvinder Singh Vice Chancellor LTSU Punjab Deans, Directors, and Principals from various schools of the University also graced the occasion.
The program was commenced with Saraswati Vandana followed by a vibrant March Past. The Chief Guest H S Dhillon former DGP Punjab, addressed the gathering and inspired the students with his motivational words, while the Vice Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh extended warm wishes and blessings to all participants.
A special highlight of the day was the proud moment on this occasion, the Lamrin Tech Skills University Anthem, which was officially was sung for the first time during the opening ceremony adding a touch of pride and unity to the event. Thousands of players from different universities throughout India are participating in this mega event.
