An Engineering Book on Simulation Software is released at Punjabi University, Patiala

Pooja Mohindru and Pankaj Mohindru, acouple working in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Punjabi University, Patiala have written a book Electronic Circuit Analysis using LTSpice XVII Simulator: A Practical Guide for Beginners. The comprehensive book has been published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, United Kingdom.
Dr.Manjit Singh Patterh, Dean Faculty, Engineering Departments, told the press that this SPICE Simulation software is a virtual breadboard that assists the academic, research, and industrial communities in building, testing & analyzing the performance of Electronic/ Electrical circuits without the need of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). He further added that this book is going to be a milestone for LTSpice users and researchers in the whole world. Dr.Manjit Singh Bhamrah, former Head of the E.C.E. department believes this comprehensive book shows the academic acumen of the author couple and would certainly raise employment opportunities for the students aspiring for job opportunities in Science and Engineering streams.Dr. I. About the Authors:
Dr. Pooja Mohindru – She has written her third book on technology. She holds brilliant credentials throughout her careerand is passionate about sharing her knowledge. She qualified GATE in 2001 and received her Master of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering as well as Ph.D. in the same discipline from Thapar University, Patiala, India.She is currently working in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Punjabi University, India, and has over 16 years of teaching experience. Her research focuses on analog electronics, digital signal processing, digital communication, digital electronics, and microelectronics. Her publications include around 20 research articles in various international journals andtechnical books on Introduction to Fractional Fourier Transform& MATLAB and SIMULINK (A basic Understanding for Engineers).
Dr Pankaj MohindruDr. Pankaj Mohindru –Dr. Pankaj Mohindruhas done his B.E., M.E. (First class with Distinction) from Thapar University, Patiala. He has done his MBA &Doctoral degree from Punjabi University, Patiala. He has published more than 30 articles/research papers in a wide range of Engineering and Management relating National/ International journals. He started his career in the public sector and served there for five years. He is presently working as Head, USIC of Punjabi University, Patiala
