Annual award giving ceremony ‘ABHINANDAN’ held at Rayat College of Law

An annual award giving ceremony ‘ABHINANDAN’,was held at Rayat College of Law, Railmajra, near Rupnagar . The District and Sessions Judge of S.B.S Nagar Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa was the Chief Guest of the event.
The event began with the lighting of lamp by the honorable guest. After the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious traditional lamp and floral welcome of the chief guest the Principal Dr. Monika Sharma made the welcome speech. All the faculty and students were present in this event.
The students who have scored top positions in the Panjab University merit list during 2021-2022 examination were given awards. Award of Merit was presented to Khushi Jain, student of B.ALL.B (Hons) 3rd semester for 3rd position, Shffi student of B.COM LL.B(HONS) of 3rd semester for 5th position, Rajdeep Kaur of B.A.LL.B(HONS) 5th semester for 4th position,ShawetaAggarwal student of B.COM LLB (Hons)7th Sem for7th position, Himanshu Bansal of B.COM LLB (Hons.) 7th sem for 10th Position, Komal of BA. LLB (Hons) 7thSem for 9th position, Hiya Parul Sharma of B.A LLB & Aryan Dhawan of B.com LLB 9th sem scored Merit position in Punjab University.
The chief guest distributed the awards to the winners and motivated toall the students to work harder in life to get sure success. He also told that Law is a nobel profession and as a law students they should took responsibility to serve the country through honesty,consistency and integrity and the bottom line is that lawyers are uniquely trained and qualified to deal with a plethora of legal issues and help people find an acceptable resolution to their legal problems.
Chief guest had detailed interaction with students in which he answered many of their questions. The entire programme was a nice display of discipline by students and organizers.
Annual award giving ceremony ‘ABHINANDAN’ held at Rayat College of Law. Vote of thanks was made by college dean academics Dr. Manish Kumar. The programme ended with the tune of the national anthem.
