Associate Professor invited to teach a course in Czech Republic

Dr. Shveta Dhaliwal has brought accolade for Patiala as she has been invited by Masaryk University of Czech Republic to teach a special course on human rights. The course has been opted by students of different disciplines and of Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate level. This is the second time she has been invited to teach the course, with a gap caused due to COVID.

The course has been designed on the basis of an international book published by Dr. Dhaliwal, Human Rights Mechanism in South Asia, published by Routledge, London-New York, 2016. The book received overwhelming response from different parts of the world and is ready for it’s second edition.

Dr. Dhaliwal is currently serving as Associate Professor in Political Science, School of Liberal Arts, Thapar University and is a tenure track faculty at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.

Dr. Dhaliwal has extensive international experience in research and teaching and is dedicated to globalising local education.
