Association of Private Aided College Principals of Punjabi University elected its new office bearers

A meeting of Association of Private Aided College Principals of Punjabi University Patiala was held in which Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha Principal Khalsa College Patiala was elected President, Dr. Jasveer Singh, Principal Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib was elected General Secretary, Dr. Pushpinder Kaur, Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa College Morinda was elected Joint Secretary and Dr. Neeraj Goyal Principal Modi College Patiala was elected Finance Secretary.
Dr. Kashmir Singh Principal Mata Gujri College, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Principal SKRM College Bhagumajra, Dr. Niru Garg, Principal S.S.D. College for Women Bathinda, Dr. Rama Sharma Principal S.D. College Barnala, Dr. Sukhdeep Sidhu Principal Akal Degree College for Girls Sangrur were elected Executive Members.
Dr. M P Singh and Dr. Jitinder Singh Sidhu, the former director, who were the advisors of the association for a long time, have been re-elected as the advisors of the association.
All the members congratulated them and urged them to pursue DPI Colleges, Punjabi University Patiala and Punjab Government to solve the challenges faced by higher education and to resolve the long pending issues.
On this occasion, Dr. Ubha said that the number of students in colleges is already decreasing. The admission process has been made more complicated by the government by introducing the application procedure on the official portal. Dr. Jasveer Singh assured to get DPI grants issued to colleges.
