Baba Farid Group organised lecture for MBA Students
Innovative Teaching Methodology has been adopted in order to impart quality education to the students at Baba Farid Group of Institutions under which various activities were organized from time to time to enhance the knowledge of the students like Extension lectures, guest lecturers etc. Baba Farid College of Management and Technology also organized a guest lecture for students of MBA (2nd & 4th semester) and M.Com. (2nd & 4th semester)
The keynote speaker of this lecture was Som Prakash Sethi, Divisional Sales Manager of SBI Life Insurance (Ferozepur Division). He gave information about the students that how getting a good salary in the field of marketing. He also motivated students by telling them that by devoting only 2 hours in a day even a fresher can earn handsome incentives in insurance sector. He summarised that Banking and Insurance sector has vast opportunities for all students. He also shared his life experiences and motivated students to work hard.
Rakesh Sharma, Regional Marketing Manager (Delhi and Punjab), ICICI Securities also gave a speech to these students about ‘Stock Mind Event’. He gave information that STOCKMIND is a stock competition for students. He shared that STOCKMIND has benefited lacs of students across hundreds of colleges all over India. In this Session Sharma took queries of the students and gave them practical knowledge regarding demat account and also explained the Competition rules and participation details.
In addition, MBA (2nd & 4th semester) students were given a special lecture on ‘How to Complete Research Project’ by Arundeep Singh Brar, Business Development Manager, Advantage Kitchen Plus Limited (AKPL) New Zealand. He enlightened the knowledge of the MBA students regarding how to make a research project on an Industry in a minimum time and in a best way. The session was very interactive and the expert solved many queries with regard to the students’ major projects especially research methodology.
Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions felicitated these initiatives of BFCMT for enhancing the knowledge of students and he said that such efforts are very useful for the students because these lectures are guided the students.
