BBMB Talwara Organises a Workshop on Hindi Rajbhasha

A special workshop on Hindi Rajbhasha was organised at the Talwara office of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). The workshop was inaugurated by Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta.
On this occasion, J.K. Mandal, Assistant Director, Rajbhasha Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, attended as the chief guest. Addressing the participants, he said that wider use of Hindi in official work strengthens administrative efficiency and promotes effective communication of government policies to the public. He encouraged employees to adopt Hindi in official functioning, describing it as the need of the hour.
Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta stated that BBMB has always remained committed to implementing the Rajbhasha policy effectively. He said that such workshops play an important role in enhancing awareness and confidence among employees regarding the use of Hindi in official work. He also appealed to officers and employees to further encourage the use of Hindi in day-to-day office functioning.
During the workshop, Yumesh, Member Secretary, Rajbhasha Committee, Hoshiarpur, informed participants about Rajbhasha through an interactive quiz session. He also provided detailed information regarding the use of computers and technical facilities in Hindi.

On the occasion, Mithu Shah, Rajbhasha Officer, Punjab and Sind Bank, elaborated on rules and government guidelines related to Rajbhasha implementation.
At the conclusion of the programme, Deputy Chief Engineer Vimal Kumar Meena expressed gratitude to all guests and participants. The stage proceedings were conducted in a distinctive manner by Sub Divisional Officer Pawan Kumar Saini.
Executive Engineers Arvinder Singh Ubhi and Sanjay Dhadich, along with officers and employees from various divisions, were also present on the occasion.
The workshop was successfully coordinated with the special contribution of Taranpreet Singh from the Hindi Cell.
