BFCET is overall champion at Youth Fest of MRSPTU

Two day Inter Zonal Youth Festival ‘Mehak Punjab Di’ was organized at Desh Bhagat Foundation Group of Institutions, Moga by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda. Students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology participated in various events of this Youth Festival with full zeal and enthusiasm. In these competitions, the students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology won 13 Gold Medals and 7 Silver Medals by showing their talents. Due to these achievements, Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology has won the overall champion trophy by enhancing the prestige of the institution. Everyone appreciated the talent of these students. It is worth mentioning that BFCET was also become Overall University Champion during Last Year Youth Fest.

Students won first position in Punjabi Folk Dance (Boys), Punjabi folk dance (girls),Punjabi Regional Dance(Luddi) ,Classical Dance, Group song Indian, Western Vocal Solo, Vaar singing,Classical vocal solo, One Act Play,Skit, Mimicry, Elocution, Quiz and got silver medals in Group Shabad, Creative Writing(Story), Creative writing (Essay), Clay Modeling, Mime , On the spot photography and  Folk Song. Amanpreet kaur was awarded as Best Actor (Female) in One act play and Harrehmatjot Kaur, a student of BFCET was awarded as Best Dancer in Gidha.

Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions congratulated all the students for their commendable participation and inspired them to touch the peak of glory in their lives. He motivated them to make the best use of these opportunities to polish their personalities. He said that these events eventually build up a student’s mindset as per the need of the era.  Er. Manish Goyal, Assistant Director (Academics), BFGI also lauded the winning and participating students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology in the Youth Festival. Er.Amandeep Singh, Dean Student welfare, BFCET also conveyed their well wishes to the participants and the cultural team for their efforts and hard work.
