BJP appointed Capt Amarinder Singh and his turncoat aide’s as state core committee, finance committee members

Today, BJP made former chief minister of Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh, former Punjab Pradesh Congress committee president Sunil Jakhar , former director general of police (DGP) Sarabjit Singh Virk among others as State Core Committee members.
The saffron party has also adjusted former Punjab Pradesh Congress committee president Sunil Jakhar into the party’s state core committee and finance committee.
The other members of the core committee are Ashwani Sharma, Som Parkash, Avinash Rai Khanna, Manoranjan Kalia, Rajinder Bhandari, Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Jaswinder Dhillon, Vijay Sampla, Manthri Srinivasullu, Shwait Malik, Tikshan Sud and Subhash Sharma.
The party’s national vice-president Saudan Singh, national general secretary Tarun Chugh, parliamentary board member Iqbal Singh Lalpura, state incharge Vijay Rupani, state co-incharge Narender Raina and all state general secretaries will be special invitees in the core committee.
Saffron party supremo JP Nadda after discussing with state party president Ashwani Sharma gave green signal to appoint 17 core committee members, 6 special invitees core committee and 9 members under party’s state finance committee from Punjab.
Earlier on December 3,2022 BJP Punjab state president had announced a list of office bearers of state BJP unit and adjusted the turncoat leaders and Capt Amarinder Singh close aides.
In the December 3 list BJP national president JP Nadda had adjusted the high profile Punjab turncoat leaders including Capt Amarinder Singh, Sunil Jakhar, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, Manoranjan Kalia and Amanjot Kaur Ramoowalia, Jaiveer Shergill.
Capt Amarinder Singh’s daughter Jai Inder kaur was made party’s state vice president from Patiala. She had joined BJP along with her father.
BJP appointed Capt Amarinder Singh and his turncoat aide’s as state core committee, finance committee members. With an eye on the 2024 Lok Sabha election, the BJP on December 2,2022 named former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh and ex chief of state Congress Sunil Jakhar as the party’s national executive members. Along with its former Uttar Pradesh president Swatantra Dev Singh as members of its national executive.
