Congress releases another list of 16 candidates including Chandigarh, Mandi seats

The Congress on Saturday released a list of 16 more candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, fielding its fire brand speaker Manish Tewari from Chandigarh and Vikramaditya Singh, son of former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, from Mandi.
The Mandi seat is currently represented by his mother Pratibha Singh, who is the incumbent chief of Himachal Pradesh Congress.
Now, Manish Tewari will face BJP’s Sanjay Tandon on Chandigarh seat. As per INDIA bloc’s seat sharing deal, Tewari will be the candidate for both the Aam Aadmi party and the Congress.
The party has fielded Vinod Sultanpuri from Shimla (SC) seat.
