Corona cases coming from nook and corner of Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 65 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 27 patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 421 mark. Active cases in Patiala go up to 609 and discharged patients goes to 421, with today’s 27 patients.
Out of which two positive cases have been reported from PGI Chandigarh, two from Fortis Hospital Mohali, one from Max Hospital Mohali. With this the number of positive cases in the district has increased to 1046. Regarding the positive cases, he said that out of these 65 cases, 40 were from Patiala city, 12 from Rajpura, 1 from Nabha, 1 from Samana and 11 from different villages, 5 inter state travelers , 30 new cases with flu and those without flu symptoms.
4 from Majithia Enclave of Patiala, Model Town, Dhamomajra, Ujwala Galli, Three from Dogra Mohalla, Arya Samaj Chowk, Vishwakarma Colony, Two each from Adarsh Nagar, Tripuri Galli Nos. 7 and 21, Tobha Baba Dhyana, Hira Nagar, Ghas Mandi, Rose Colony, Gher Sodhian Mohalla, Tej Bagh Colony, Urban Estate, Lahori Gate, Sarabha Nagar, Ratan Nagar, Purana Press Road, Mai Ji Di Saran, Urban Estate Phase Two, Gurbakhsh Colony, Sidhu Colony, One from Ghuman Nagar. One covid positive case has been reported.
Dashmesh Colony of Rajpura, Shiv Mandir Area, NTC School Near, Two from Guru Nanak Nagar Colony, Dalima Vihar, City Police Station, Guru Angad’s Colony and One from Maken No. 2520 Rajpura, Jagdamba Colony of Samana One from Golden City, Nabha and 11 positive cases have been reported from different villages.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Malhotra said a 67-year-old resident of Urban Estate Phase II, who was admitted to Fortis Hospital due to serious illness and was covid positive, died today while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
