Corona update; cases coming from containment zones in Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 141 new cases and 2 deaths were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 137 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 93 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 2403 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 3778 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1298.
Corona update; cases coming from containment zones in Patiala. Out of these 141 cases, 65 reported from Patiala, 20 from Rajpura, 16 from nabha , 8 from Samana,3 from Ghagga and rest from different villages of the district. In Patiala district new cases were detected in contact tracing / from Ragho majra and nabha micro containment zones.
These include 34 positive cases of exposure, 100 cases of new flu and non-flu patients in the Containment Zone and OPD, 07 positive cases from outpatient samples.
According to dr Malhotra, two more covid positive patients have died in the district today.
A 65-year-old woman from Dharampura Bazar, Patiala was admitted to Rajindra Hospital with respiratory problems and a 35-year-old resident of Gurbaksh Colony who was suffering from liver disease and was admitted to Rajindra Hospital died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. With this the number of deaths of covid positive patients in the district has now risen to 77.
Four from Patiala Rose Avenue, Punjabi Bagh, Lahori Gate, Vikas Nagar, Tripuri, Preet Street, Urban Estate Phase Two, Gobind Bagh, DMW, Anand Nagar, Dashmesh Colony, Two from Model Town, Ajit Nagar , Tafjalpura, Gopal Colony, Tej Bagh Colony, Blossom Enclave, Century Enclave, Urban Estate Phase One, Hira Bagh, Green Enclave, Civil Lines, Bhakra Enclave, Bishan Nagar, Vikas Residential Complex, Vikas Colony, Preet Nagar, Darshan Colony, Career Enclave, New Green Park, SST Nagar, Sudan Mohalla, Guru Nanak Nagar Colony, North Avenue, Gurbakhsh Colony, Dhillon Colony, Nihal Bagh, Jagdish Enclave, Sirhind Road, Basant Vihar, Safabadi Gate, Ghumman Nagar, Grid Colony, Dharmapura Bazar etc.
Three each from Jagdish Colony and Gurudwara Road of Rajpura, two from Old Rajpura, one each from Gaushala Road, Dashmesh Nagar, Dalima Vihar, New Anaj Mandi, Guru Nanak Colony, Bikram Colony, Sheetal Colony, Ekta Colony, Mahendraganj etc. , Four from Basantpura Mohalla of Nabha, three from Bazigar Basti and Moti Bagh area,one each from Kailash Colony, Dojiyan Street, Preet Vihar, Asha Colony, Hira Enclave, Kailashpuri etc., four each from Samana to Kannugo Mohalla, one each from Dardi Colony, Amamgarh Mohalla, Pratap Colony etc., Ward No. 3,4 of Ghagga And 9 out of 9 and 29 different villages have reported covid positive cases.
