District police websites not updated in Punjab

Once again, Punjab police has proved that it is one of the best police forces of the world, by cracking Sidhu Moosewala murder case, zeroed in on the assailants and killed them in the encounter, yesterday due to their strength on field and intelligence network.
But, on the other hand, the same Punjab police have made wrong news due to its faulty technical network. The technical network of the world renowned police force seems to be not updated, at all.
If one goes through the websites of various district police, either they are not working or are not updated. District Police websites are one point information for the residents of that area in particular or for others in general.
At present Punjab police is headed by Gaurav Yadav, IPS as DGP. But, for some district police, like Ludhiana police commissionerate and Jalandhar police commissionerate VK Bhawra is still the DGP. Bhawra is on leave and Gaurav Yadav is officiating as DGP, Punjab police. This is creating confusion in the minds of visitors, who are visiting their official website for any information.
Gurdaspur police and Kapurthala police official websites don’t have the photograph of any DGP-Bhawra or Yadav.
Malerkotla district is the 23rd district of Punjab. The district was carved out of Sangrur district on 14 May, 2021.But, after a year, Malerkotla police doesn’t have its own website.
Similarly, Barnala police and SAS Nangar, Mohali police websites are showing a danger sign with a message “attackers might be trying to steal your information “
Jalandhar Rural Police, Ferozepur police websites are also not in working conditions.
When contacted the senior superintendent of police, Barnala Surinder Kumar Malik, IPS he said “I have no information about this issue that Barnala police website is not working. I’ll get it checked.”
When contacted the Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Gursharan Singh Sandhu, admitted that it’s a mistake and said they will replace the photo of DGP VK Bhawra with DGP Gaurav Yadav, immediately .
when contacted the AIG Technical services, Punjab police, Bikramjit Singh, he said Nikhil Garg, DSP is looking after the website section.
Meanwhile , Kaustubh Sharma , Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and deputy superintendent of police (DSP) technical services, Nihkil Garg couldn’t be contacted despite repeated tries.
