Education minister Singla gives nod to fill 1664 posts of ETT teachers

After getting nod of Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla for filling 1664 vacant posts of Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) teachers, the Punjab Education Department today sought online applications from the eligible candidates.
In a press communiqué issued here, Singla said that these posts will be filled under border districts category, which included 664 posts of backlog and 1000 direct posts. He said that these posts comprises; 390 posts of general category, 398 of SC (M&B), 397 of SC (R&O), 20 of SC (Ex-servicemen-M&B), 20 of SC (Ex-servicemen-R&O), 5 of SC (Sports-M&B), 5 of SC (Sports-R&O), 100 of BC category, 20 of BC (Ex-servicemen), 20 posts of Sports (General), 53 of Freedom Fighters, 70 of Ex-servicemen (General), 66 of Persons with Disabilities and 100 post for Economically Weaker Section of General Category.
Education minister Singla gives nod to fill 1664 posts of ETT teachers. Singla further said that eligible candidates can apply online on the department’s website www.educationrecruitmentboard.com by 5:00 pm up till March 23, 2020, besides noting down the terms and conditions.
