Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh of Mata Gujri College released lab journal ‘Fateh’ of Journalism and Mass Communication department. In this journal, activities of the college and creations of the students are published; with this they get an opportunity to enhance their creative skills.
Dr. Kashmir Singh admired journalism department for this step and said,” It provides a platform to the students so that they can share their articles, features and poems. This facilitates them to attain practical knowledge which is very helpful for their future.”
Dean Academics of the college Prof. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu said,” When students get such platform in the college, they don’t get any obstacle in the future to achieve their goals and their path of success becomes easy.”
Head of the department Prof. Reena Kaur Dhillion told,” This lab journal is being published every month since 2012 in which students and professors can give their creations. Where with these creations, students enhance their writing skills, there it plays big role as the source of knowledge. On this occasion, Prof. Dilraj Singh, Prof. Kriti Talwar, Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Prof. Suman Sharma, Prof. Kamaljeet Kaur and students were also present.
