Patiala district administration has declared 8 localities in Patiala on alert due to the direction of flow that the water collected in the city is going towards these colonies.
Following colonies remain on alert –

- Hiranagar
- Gobindbagh
- Rose colony
- Jagdish colony
- Mathura colony
- Teg bagh
