Hackers hacked the facebook page of former Union Minister and BJP leader Vijay Sampla. As per his post, “his facebook page has been hacked, which has 1.90 lacs followers.”
Vijay Sampla has already informed the Hoshairpur SSP on telephone. When contacted the Hoshairpur SSP Gaurav Garg, confirmed that “he had got a telephone from the former minister about the hacking of his facebook page and the police will take appropriate action. He said he has already asked the minister to lodge the formal complaint”
Vijay Sampla served as Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in India from 2014 to 2019. He is a former member of parliament from Hoshiarpur (Lok Sabha constituency). He won the 2014 Indian general election as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. He did not contest the 2019 elections.
Earlier in November 2015 Sampla’s website was also hacked into by the terrorist outfit Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). He made that claim in his post on his Facebook page, at that time also.
