Keeping public healthcare in mind, a special ‘AYUSH Medical and Check-up Camp’ was successfully organized today at the historic Vishwakarma Temple in Sanaur by the District Administration Patiala and the AYUSH Department.

At the beginning of the camp, experts from the AYUSH department stated that the main objective of these camps being organized under the directions of the Chief Minister of Punjab is to create awareness about natural treatment systems such as Ayurveda and Homeopathy.

More than 400 patients who arrived at the camp were thoroughly examined by Ayurvedic and Homeopathic specialist doctors. Free medicines for chronic diseases, joint pain, stomach ailments, and seasonal fever were also distributed to the patients. The most important feature of this camp was that essential blood tests of patients were conducted absolutely free with the cooperation of Sanaur’s famous ‘Modern Diagnostic Lab’.

Samples were taken on the spot by the lab team and reports were provided to the patients so that their proper treatment could be done. On this occasion, prominent social worker and operator of Modern Diagnostic Lab, honored with “Rashtriya Samaj Sevi Sant Ratan Award”, Manjeet Singh Chauhan, who arrived specially, addressed the gathering and said, “Service to humanity is the greatest virtue.
