GIEAIA leaders’ shared ongoing struggle for employees’ genuine demands at Allahabad; urged them to be ready for agitation if demands not met

Under the leadership of Trilok Singh, General Secretary, General Insurance Employees All India Association (GIEAIA), and Darshan Kumar Wadhwa, Secretary General, GIEAIA Class 1, a team from Lucknow comprising Com. G S Singh, Anil Verma, and HN Tiwari visited all offices of the three insurance companies in Allahabad. Subsequently, a grand meeting was organized by Allahabad unit’s Secretary Alok Khare, President Shyam, and other unit members at the National Insurance office premises.

In this meeting, Trilok Singh informed about the ongoing struggle for wage revision and urged preparation for a nationwide movement if demands aren’t met. Senior colleagues Mohan Chand, Darshan Wadhwa, and others shared their views. Around 130 employees and officers of PSGICs participated.

The General Insurance Employees All India Association is  demanding:

– Merger of four government insurance companies

– 0% GST on life and health insurance policies

– Regulatory authority over hospitals

– Adequate recruitment across all categories
