Gymkahana club member’s infighting; management suspended senior member

Infighting between the Members of Rajindra Gymkhana and Mohindra Cub (RGMC), which is one of the prestigious club of India, has brought bad name to the club.
The club management has even suspended its one of the senior member and former president Santokh Singh for indefinite period. The management has also issued a show cause notice to him, for his misconduct.
Hony. Secretary of RGMC , CA Amarinder Singh Pabla has issue a notice of Grave Misconduct to Santokh Singh. The hony secy. of RGMC has pointed about an incident , that happened on September 23rd 2021 in which Santokh Singh misbehaved with a fellow member in the club premises. He said this incident has brought a bad name to the institution.
RGMC hony. secy. has asked Santokh Singh to “explain your position within seven days from the date of receipt of the letter. In the meantime, your membership stands suspended and you are not allowed to enter the club premises, till further orders.”
As per the available information, club elections are coming and a core committee meeting of the management was held on September 23, 2021. After the meeting, while having drinks an argument started between the management’s core committee members. In between Santokh Singh hurled a whiskey glass towards another member, who is also a senior member and remained treasure of the club. The glass hit him and blood started coming. Later the member was taken to hospital, where he was given stitches.

It’s not for the first time that infighting between the club members held in the club premises. Earlier also many incidents of infighting between the elite club members were held.
