IET Bhaddal Technical Campus celebrated International Youth Day

Today, at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, International Youth Day was celebrated under the “Viksit Bharat – Yuva Connect Program” of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Sharing the details, Dean Student Welfare, Onkar Singh said that on this occasion, the students took a pledge, demonstrating their dedication and responsibility towards the nation, that they would strengthen their skills, serve the country with honesty and contribute to the Government of India’s vision of building a self-reliant, empowered and developed India by 2047.

Registrar-cum-Director of the institute, Dr. S.S. Bindra, said that the “Viksit Bharat – Yuva Connect Program” is an important initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, aimed at encouraging structured youth participation, fostering stronger connections between young citizens and policymakers, and creating a platform where youth can share their ideas, engage in policy dialogues and actively contribute to India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The program concluded with a collective commitment to making India a developed nation by 2047. Present on the occasion were Dr. Gurpreet Singh (Principal – Engineering), Dr. Preet Kanwal Kaur (Principal – Pharmacy), Vishal Arora, Bhawanpreet Kaur, Nileshwar Taak, Kamaljit Singh, Ishani, Karan Sharma and others.
