Punjabi University to conduct entrance test for LLM program; releases admissions schedule

The admissions to LLM programs in main campus, regional center and affiliated college of Punjabi University, Patiala will be done on the basis of Entrance Test to be held on August 07, 2023. Earlier, the admission was announced to be based on the merit in qualifying examination.
This is taken on the demand of the concerned departments to restore the practice of entrance test-based admissions in LLM followed prior to COVID outbreak. This practice was discontinued due to restrictions imposed in the wake of COVID-19.
The University has decided to restore the practice of entrance test-based admissions in LLM programs with effect from this session. The applicants who have applied considering the merit-based admissions have been informed through messages and publication of Corrigendum in newspapers, social media as well as on the admission web site.
In order to give a fair chance to all candidates, the schedule for LLM has been extended. The last date for applying for this program is now August 2. In coming years, the practice of entrance test-based admission to other professional courses will be restored in phased manner.
