In a major reshuffle Punjab Govt replaces state intelligence chief

After around six months, Punjab govt has once again changed the state intelligence head and appointed ADGP RK Jaiswal as the new state intelligence chief.
On June 9,2023 state government has given the charge of intelligence to special DGP Varinder Kumar, who is already heading vigilance bureau. He replaced IG Jaskaran Singh, IPS who was looking after as ADGP Intelligence at that time.
Jaskaran Singh was appointed regular state intelligence head in February 2023.
