Kidambi Srikanth beats Jonatan Christie 21-15 23-21 as he beat 14-time champions Indonesia 3-0 to win a historic first Thomas Cup in the 73 year history of the tournament.
INDIA created history. First time ever any Indian has won Thomas Cup. Today, India secure their first-ever Thomas Cup gold by winning singles game 21-15, 23-21 against Jonatan Christie.
About Thomas Cup
The Thomas Cup, is an international badminton competition among teams representing member nations of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the sport’s global governing body. The championships have been conducted every two years since the 1982, amended from being conducted every three years since the first tournament held in 1948–1949.
