India creates history in Asia Cup

Today India created history by winning Asia Cricket Cup for the eighth time by defeating defending champion Sri Lanka by 10 wickets.
Sri Lanka played first and was all out for 50 runs. In response to this Indian cricketers made 51 runs in just 37 balls.
Indian bowler Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets for 21 runs in his 7 seven spell. Out of 6 wickets,he took 5 wickets in just 16 balls.
Indian opener Shubhman Gill made 27 and Ishan Kishan made 23 to take India to the winning dais.
Sri Lanka earned their spot in the final by defeating Pakistan by a narrow margin of two wickets during the Super Four stage, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown against India.
The first Asia Cup was played in 1984 in UAE and India was the winner of that tournament and Sri Lanka was the runner-up. At time also India beats Sri Lanka by 10 wickets.
Earlier in their group match, India beat Pakistan with a huge margin of 228 runs.
